The most common type of accommodation at the festival. Standard camping is already included in your festival ticket, and everyone brings their own tent. Please note that parking next to your tent is not allowed. Also note that there is no hot water.

2. Rent a tent

We also offer the option to rent one of our classic Quechua tents. Tents are available for one or two people. A pre-set tent will be waiting for you at the campsite, equipped with inflatable sleeping mats according to the number of guests. Each guest needs to bring their own sleeping bag, pillow, pillowcase, and sheet. The tent also offers enough space for your luggage.

What is the Guardians Festival and who is it for?

Family-friendly festival that unites people who share a vision of a more loving world!

Guardians Festival is a five-day journey held in pristine nature, right by the Kolpa river. It’s an alcohol-free space where families and friends gather to celebrate life through music, dance, and rituals. Together, we co-create a vision of a more loving world and carry it back into our everyday lives.

The festival will be entirely held in English, featuring performances by incredible local and international artists, speakers, and visionaries.

Guardians Festival welcomes dreamers, visionaries, artists, healers, free spirits, spiritual seekers, families – all who feel the vision of a more loving world.

What is the purpose and vision of the festival?

Guardians Festival is a family-friendly festival that unites people who share a vision of a more loving world!

  • A healing space where our inner guardians awaken and our hearts open wide, guiding us to protect what is sacred.
  • Guardians Festival is a community-centered event. Only as one can we remember who we are and rise together in unity.
  • This festival it’s not just an event - it’s a living vision of a world we believe in! Are you ready to be part of it?

Our vision is to bring to life the world we all dream of during the festival—an experience so profound that every participant carries its essence into their daily life, inspiring them to create a more loving world wherever they go.

Why is the festival called Guardians?

The name Guardians carries the essence of what the festival stands for. It reminds us to awaken and remember the inner Guardian within each of us, the one who protects life, the Earth, the sacred, the family, the circle of community, and the ancient ways of ceremony.

At the festival, we gather as guardians from all winds; keepers of wisdom, love, and presence, who remember that true guardianship begins within, through awareness, compassion, and conscious action.

Our logo, depicting Thoth, the ancient Egyptian god of wisdom and truth, symbolizes this timeless role of the guardian — the keeper of divine order, the bridge between heaven and earth, and the protector of the sacred.

Is the festival also for families?

Update: Kids tickets are sold out! The only exception are children up to 12 months old who are still fully dependent on their parents. You can find all the details here.

Absolutely! Guardians Festival warmly welcomes families. At Guardians, we believe that children deserve a festival experience as rich and exciting as the grown-ups! Our diverse kids’ program caters to all ages, giving little ones the space to play freely, explore, create, and connect.

Here, kids don’t just watch — they experience, experiment, and grow as they dive into a world of creativity, wonder, and endless discovery.

The children's program is divided into two groups — children aged 0 to 7 and children aged 8 to 14.

Guardians Fairyland for kids aged 0 to 7

Led by three heartful and playful pedagogs, Fairyland is a space where children can play freely, explore, and have fun. Through interactive corners, hands-on activities, creative games, and imaginative adventures, kids get to build, experiment, and discover new things while developing social skills, coordination, creativity, and confidence. The pedagogs support each child to try new experiences, make friends, and enjoy the wonder of learning through play, all in a safe and cheerful environment.

Guardians Camp for kids aged 8 to 14

Guardians Camp is an adventurous and engaging space guided by Matic Novak, an expert in working with children with ADHD, together with his two dedicated assistants. Here, children are encouraged to be curious, brave, and collaborative, with nature as the heart of their exploration and learning. Through fun challenges, creative activities, and a storytelling adventure that takes them deep into the world of natural elements, kids build confidence, teamwork, resilience, and mutual support. They learn to overcome fears, encourage one another, and discover their strengths, all while having unforgettable fun in a safe and inspiring environment.

Kids up to 14 years old have free entry to the festival.

Who is behind the organization of the festival?

Guardians Festival is organised by Armida d.o.o., founded by Miha Itanimon Korošec.

Besides the festival, the company is engaged in organizing conscious events in Slovenia and in offering ritual products as well as personalized star maps.

How can I follow news and updates about the festival?

You can stay updated on all the latest news and announcements about the festival by following us on our social media channels, subscribing to our newsletter, or joining our WhatsApp group for real-time updates and direct communication. Feel free to join our WhatsApp community by clicking here.

Where can we purchase food and drinks at the festival?

Both the Food Point and Fresh Point are located at the main festival venue.

What kind of food and drinks will be available at the festival?

Guardians Festival unites passionate chefs who will be preparing delicious and healthy food at the Food point, with a variety of vegan options available. Gluten-free options will also be available every day.

At the Fresh Point, our team will treat you with refreshing drinks, fresh fruit, smoothies, and delicious chickpea vegan ice cream.

Both the Food Point and Fresh Point are located at the main festival venue.

Can I cook my own food?

Standard camping is included in the festival ticket, and participants bring their own camping equipment. While food is available at the festival food area, you are welcome to bring your own camping setup and prepare simple meals at your campsite.

Is drinking water available at the festival?

Yes. There are drinking water stations at the festival where you can refill your bottles at any time. Please note that the water is cold and safe to drink, but there is no hot water available.

Can I bring alcohol with me?

The festival is an alcohol-free space designed to create a conscious and family-friendly environment. Alcohol is therefore not part of the festival experience.

How can I buy a ticket for the festival?

You can purchase your ticket for the festival through our ticket shop. Simply visit the link and follow the easy steps to secure your spot!

Purchasing a festival ticket on the day of the event will not be possible unless tickets are still available. We highly recommend securing your ticket in advance to guarantee your spot.

What types of tickets are available, what do they include, and what is the price?

For now, we are offering full festival tickets. The sales are divided into five phases — we are currently in the Regular phase.

The Regular festival ticket is priced at 272€ and includes the festival program (with the exception of a few paid workshops and intimate ceremonies), standard camping, tax, and Slovenia Travel Guide.

Guardians Festival is a community-centered gathering. That’s why we decided to offer a special pack bundle to make it even easier for you and your friends to join us.

Tribe Pack – Perfect for friends coming to the festival together! Buy 4 tickets and get 1 completely free. That means each ticket comes down to just 217.60 €. The number of these tickets is very limited, so make sure to reserve yours as soon as possible.

Are payment plans available for purchasing festival tickets?

Yes! A payment plan option is available at checkout. When completing your order, simply select “Use installment plan?” under the Payment section and choose Yes.

With this option, you’ll pay 40% of the total amount upfront, 30% after one month, and the remaining 30% two months after the purchase date.

Once all payments have been completed, your festival tickets will be automatically generated by the system.

What is not included in the ticket price?

The festival ticket price does not include the following: early arrival pass (25€ per person), car parking (15€ per car), campervan parking (35€ per campervan), campervan parking with electricity (75€ per campervan), ticket booking fee (0.99 € per ticket), food and drinks, and there will be a few workshops and intimate ceremonies available for an additional cost.

What is the refund policy if I cannot attend the festival?

Refunds are only possible if you purchased ticket insurance at checkout through our ticket provider. All refund requests are handled exclusively by Booking Protect, the insurance company, and are subject to their specific terms and conditions.

If you did not purchase ticket insurance, refunds are not possible. However, you may resell your ticket if needed. Please note this is done at your own responsibility.

Will one-day tickets also be available?

Day tickets will be released closer to the festival, once the program is finalized. However, we truly recommend experiencing the full festival, as it is designed as a complete journey that brings the deepest transformation.

Can I come only for the evening music shows and buy a separate ticket?

No. Tickets are available as one-day or full festival passes only. Once you have your ticket, it’s up to you how you spend your time at the festival. Separate evening-only tickets are not offered.

Are kids' tickets completely sold out?

In the last few weeks, we have sold more tickets than we ever dared to dream of — and for that, we are deeply grateful!

As a result, we realized that the capacity of our children’s programs is filling up extremely fast. Kids tickets sold out much faster than we expected!

We truly did not expect such a response.

But because delivering a well-designed, high-quality program is something we deeply care about, we had to limit the number of children’s tickets.

With that said, our capacity for kids program is fully reached and children’s tickets are no longer available. One-day children’s tickets will not be available.

The only exception are children up to 12 months old who are still fully dependent on their parents. These tickets will not be available through the online shop. Instead, please contact us at info@guardiansfestival.com and include the child’s full name, date of birth, and age in your message. If the requirements are met, you will receive a confirmation statement from us, which will serve as the child’s ticket.

What activities and workshops will be available to participants?

Our team is already designing a diverse festival program that fully supports our mission of co-creating the world we all dream of! The program is divided into distinct sections and offers experiences, knowledge, and tools from renowned musicians, creators, and facilitators to empower participants to contribute to a more beautiful world, not only during the festival but also in their everyday lives.

Who are the performers at the festival?

We are beyond excited to share the artists who will be shaping the magic of Guardians Festival 2026. Each of them brings a unique energy, sound, and presence to the gathering — helping create an experience that is both deeply moving and truly unforgettable.

Meet the artists of the Guardians 2026 lineup: Sam Garrett, Awarë, Ajeet, Mose, Amenti MoveMeant, Sacred Sons, Yaima, Uria Tsur, Sophia Kai, Natan Rabin, Deer Jade, Christian Dimarco, Janax Pacha, Cloud of I, Mia Mayah, Ori, and many others.

Together, they will guide us through moments of celebration, connection, and transformation across the festival stages.

When will the full program of the festival be published?

The full festival program by segments will be published closer to the festival.

Can I participate as a performer at the festival?

Thank you for your interest! Applications for artists, speakers, and facilitators, are now closed, as our program is already fully curated.

If you would like to stay connected for future editions, we warmly invite you to follow our announcements and apply when the next open call is released.

We deeply appreciate everyone who feels called to contribute to the Guardians Festival.

How many stages are there at the festival, and what happens on each of them?

During Guardians Festival 2025, we created seven unique stages and spaces, each carrying its own energy and purpose. Together forming a multidimensional journey through music, workshops, and ceremonies.

  • Guardians – The festival’s main stage, home to larger activities, ecstatic dances, and musical performances that bring the community together.
  • Anubis – A ceremonial stage by the fire, hosting vocal workshops, sound baths, and ceremonial concerts under the open sky.
  • Sirius – Set by the Kolpa River and lit by a disco ball, this space features daytime electronic music, ecstatic dances, martial arts practices, and yoga sessions.
  • Amenti – Dedicated to movement and experiential workshops, where the body becomes a gateway to presence and flow.
  • Thoth – The educational temple of the festival, offering talks, lectures, panel discussions, and learning experiences that expand awareness.
  • Hathor – The creative space, where participants can express themselves through art, and co-creation workshops.
  • Gaia – A tipi tent with a sacred fire, hosting ceremonies, intimate rituals, and deep experiential workshops.

Not all stages may remain the same. In 2026, we are preparing an even deeper and more mystical experience, where each space will further evolve in its symbolism, purpose, and energy, inviting participants into an ever-expanding journey of transformation and unity.

Where and when does the festival take place?

Our beautiful festival venue is located in Kostel, Slovenia - the green heart of Europe.

Exact location: Fara 3, 1336 Kostel, Slovenia

Guardians Festival will take place from August 5 to 9, 2026.

We recommend arriving at the festival on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, in the morning to set up your tent or park your campervan in peace. The festival venue will open its doors on Wednesday at 8 AM, and the official festival program will begin at 10 AM.

Early arrival is also possible. See below.

Is early arrival possible?

Early arrival at Guardians Festival is possible from Tuesday, August 4, 2026, between 4 PM and 9 PM. The camp will be open and ready to welcome the first visitors. By securing an early arrival pass, you also get the chance to choose the best camping spot.

However, an early arrival pass will be required for this extra day of camping. The early arrival pass costs 25€ per person. Kids up to 14 years old have free early arrival pass and entry to the festival. Note that the main festival venue opens the following day, Wednesday, August 5, 2026. There will be no festival program on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.

You can get an early arrival pass at our ticket shop.

Is there parking available at the festival?

Parking is located near the campsite and festival venue. A parking ticket is required to park there.

Parking tickets are available for 15€ and can be purchased at our ticket shop.

What payment methods are available at the festival?

At the festival, we will use a prepaid credit system. At special info points, you can load credit onto your festival card, which you can then use to pay for food, drinks, merch, and workshops. You can top up your card with either cash or card.

There is also an ATM at the nearby gas station, but it has a limited cash supply, so we recommend arriving with a payment card or enough cash to cover your expenses.

Can I use soaps or detergents?

Yes! We encourage all participants to bring natural soaps, shampoos, and detergents to help us protect the environment and the beautiful nature around the festival. Please avoid chemical or non-biodegradable products.

Is electricity available at the festival?

Yes. There will be charging stations throughout the festival grounds where you can recharge your devices. Please note that campsites do not have individual electricity access, so personal tents or parcels won’t have direct power.

The campervan area with electricity is still available for those who purchase a special campervan parking ticket, but the number of spots is limited, so booking in advance is recommended.

Mobile signal and internet coverage at the location is generally good, but the festival does not provide Wi‑Fi.

Are dogs or animals allowed?

Although we are all passionate animal lovers, we have decided this year to prohibit dogs and other animals from entering the camping site and festival venue. This decision was made primarily for the safety of our little ones.

For all dog owners, we’ve partnered with Smrček Dog Hotel, which offers safe and loving care for your dog while you enjoy the festival.

Smrček Dog Hotel is located just over an hour’s drive from the festival venue (on the way if you're coming from Ljubljana) and provides full dog care for only €25 per day.

You can find more information on their website. For reservations or additional questions, contact them at +386 41 471 234 or via email at s3tof@siol.net.

What happens in case of rain or bad weather?

The festival takes place in all weather conditions. And honestly, based on our past festivals and events, we seem to have pretty good connections with the weather spirits ;)

In case of rain, there’s no need to worry. We have several large tents and covered areas across the festival grounds where you can comfortably move your body, attend workshops, or simply relax until the sun returns.

So come prepared, but trust that the spirits are usually on our side.

What are the camping options at the festival?

The campsite opens on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 4PM with an early arrival pass (25€ per person) and closes on Monday, August 10, at 10 AM.

Standard camping is included in the festival ticket; however you need to bring your own camping equipment.

The camping area is located in a pleasant, shaded shelter of the forest. The campsite is equipped with toilets, sinks, and showers. Please note that there is no hot water in the showers.

You can also stay in your campervan or sleep in your car. See below.

Can I stay in my campervan or sleep in a car at the festival?

There is a special part of the campsite dedicated for campervans and cars.

If you are arriving at the festival with a campervan or planning to sleep in your car, you need to purchase a special ticket. There are three options available:

  • Sleeping in a car / Tent on a car (35 €)
  • Campervan parking - regular (35€)
  • Campervan parking - with electricity (75€)

In each case, your vehicle will be parked inside the fenced area of the festival campsite.

You can get a campervan ticket at our ticket shop. The number of campervan parkings with electricity is limited.

Please note that the campervan area is separated from the tent area. You may set up a shade in front of your campervan or car, but you cannot camp together with friends who have tents.

Is it possible to rent a tent?

We also offer the option to rent one of our classic Quechua tents. Tents are available for one or two people. A pre-set tent will be waiting for you at the campsite, equipped with inflatable sleeping mats according to the number of guests. Each guest needs to bring their own sleeping bag, pillow, pillowcase, and sheet. The tent also offers enough space for your luggage. Rent a tent here.

Can I park my car next to my tent?

Cars are parked in a designated parking area near the campsite. If you want to sleep in your car or campervan inside the campsite, you need to purchase a special campervan or car-sleeping ticket.

What other accommodation options are available?

If camping isn’t your thing, don’t worry – there are plenty of cozy accommodations available near the festival grounds.

You can find a full list of nearby hosts, along with their contact details for inquiries and bookings, at the following link.

We’ve also partnered with Balkan Campers, who offer campervan rentals for the duration of our festival. As a special bonus, if you rent a campervan through them, they’ll gift you a campervan ticket worth 35€. All information and bookings are available at the following link.

What are the nearest airports to the festival venue?
  • Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport (LJU) – approx. 95 km, about 1 hour 40 minutes drive
  • Zagreb Franjo Tuđman Airport (ZAG) – approx. 103 km, about 1 hour 30 minutes drive

We are offering airport shuttles from Ljubljana and Zagreb airports. Find the details below.

Are you offering airport shuttles?

Since our festival location is so remote that even the bears help us deliver the mail, we’ve decided to offer you a shuttle service. We want to make your journey into the pristine nature of our beautiful Slovenia as smooth and worry-free as possible.

We offer shuttles from and to two main airports:

  • Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport (LJU)
  • Zagreb Franjo Tuđman Airport (ZAG)

You can find the full schedule and the application form here.

Where can I find/offer transportation?

If you're looking for a ride or have space in your car, we invite you to join our WhatsApp group for ride sharing. It’s a great way to connect with other participants and share the journey to the festival.

Ride sharing is not only practical – it’s also eco-friendly. Together, we reduce our carbon footprint and create meaningful connections even before the festival begins!

Join our WhatsApp group here. Later on, there will also be a ride-sharing table available where you can offer or look for a ride.
