Our vision is to bring to life the world we all dream of during the festival - an experience so profound that every participant carries its essence into their daily life, inspiring them to create a more loving world wherever they go.

The story of the Guardians Festival began in 2023 with a one-day event - Varuhi Nove Zemlje (Guardians of the new Earth) organized to celebrate the 3rd anniversary of Dream Creator, the company behind the festival's organization.
Miha, the festival organizer, received the vision for the festival during a shamanic ceremony with psilocybin mushrooms just a few months before the one-day event took place.
The year 2024 was a milestone for the festival, as the festival team’s vision came to life for the first time in a full-fledged festival format.
For two days, the magical meadow between the lake and the river transforms into a festival venue embraced by nature.
The feelings of love, community, and peace still live through us. The participants' feedback reaffirmed that we are on the right path.
The year 2025 marks another milestone for the festival, as it will be held entirely in English, welcoming a broader audience.
The festival will feature performances by Chantress Seba, Malte Marten, Natan Rabin, J Pool and many others.
This year, we are expanding the festival venue to offer an even more unique and unforgettable experience.
Guardians Festival is a family-friendly gathering by the Kolpa River in the untouched nature of magical Slovenia. It’s an alcohol-free space where families and friends gather to celebrate life through music, dance, and rituals. For five days, we experience what a more loving world can feel like — and carry a little piece of it back home with us.
As the founder of Guardians Festival and Guardians Events, I turn visions into living experiences. My intention is to create spaces that open hearts, bring people together, awaken the guardian within and inspire new ways of co-creating a more loving world.
One of my deepest personal values is family, which is why Guardians has been created with families at its heart from the very beginning.
Behind this vision stands a young, passionate and ambitious team — a family of dreamers, creators and heart-led leaders who pour their energy into creating experiences that move people and inspire meaningful change.
Guardians is more than a festival. It is a vision we choose to bring to life together — a reminder of what the world can feel like when we meet with more love, presence and care.
What began as a one-day gathering in 2023 has grown into something far beyond what we could have imagined. With each year, Guardians evolves: Welcoming more people, new experiences and a bigger vision. All while the intention at its heart remains the same.
The story began in 2023 with a one-day gathering called Varuhi Nove Zemlje — Guardians of the New Earth.
Just a few months earlier, Miha received the initial vision for the gathering during a shamanic ceremony with psilocybin mushrooms. What followed was the planting of a small but meaningful seed — the first living expression of an idea that would eventually become Guardians Festival.
In 2024, that seed began to grow. For the first time, Varuhi Nove Zemlje became a multi-day festival, transforming a meadow between the river and the lake in Braslovče into a space for music, workshops, ceremony and community.
Those two days showed us that the vision could become something much bigger. The warmth, openness and sense of connection we experienced gave us the confidence to continue building.
In 2025, the festival entered a new chapter. With a new name, a new home and an increasingly international community.
More than 1,000 people gathered by the Kolpa river for the first Guardians Festival held entirely in English. Artists, including Chantress Seba, Malte Marten, Natan Rabin and J Pool joined us alongside dozens of musicians, facilitators and creators.
And after an unexpected change of location, Guardians found its home among the forests and flowing waters of the Kolpa River.
2026 became our biggest chapter yet.
Guardians expanded into a five-day gathering, welcoming around 3,000 people to Kostel for our deepest and most diverse festival experience so far.
Across five days, artists including Sam Garrett, Awarë, Ajeet and Mose shared the stages with musicians, teachers and facilitators from around the world — while an ever-growing community gathered through music, movement, ceremony, play and connection.
What began as a small gathering only three years earlier had grown into an international festival — while still holding onto the feeling that started it all.
And now the story continues.
From 4–8 August 2027, Guardians returns to Kostel for another five days by the Kolpa River.
We’re already shaping the next chapter with new artists, new experiences and new possibilities, built upon everything we have learned along the way.
But the heart of Guardians remains unchanged: bringing people together to experience, even for a few days, the kind of world we believe is possible.
When the stars align, we meet again.
There are moments at Guardians that seem to exist outside of time — a song beneath the trees, a dance in the evening light, a quiet moment by the river, a hug from someone who was a stranger only days before. At Guardians, we believe children deserve a festival experience that feels just as meaningful, exciting and memorable as it does for adults.
Our dedicated children’s program gives our young Guardians space to play, explore, create, connect and discover at their own pace. All while surrounded by nature and supported by experienced guides.
Here, kids aren’t simply along for the ride. They become part of the festival experience itself.
Guardians Fairyland is a playful and nurturing space where our youngest Guardians can explore freely, create and simply be children.
Guided by three dedicated educators, Fairyland is filled with creative activities, interactive play, imaginative adventures and spaces for discovery. Along the way, children naturally develop confidence, creativity, coordination and social skills, while making new friends and having plenty of fun.
For older children, Guardians Camp turns the festival into an adventure of its own.
Led by Matic Novak and his team, the program brings together nature, storytelling, creative challenges and teamwork to encourage curiosity, courage and connection.
Through shared adventures, children learn to collaborate, support one another, explore their strengths and step beyond their comfort zones, all within a safe, inspiring and playful environment.

Guardians Festival will take place from August 4 to 8, 2027.
We recommend arriving at the festival on Wednesday, August 4, 2027, in the morning to set up your tent or park your campervan in peace. The festival venue will open its doors on Wednesday at 8 AM, and the official festival program will begin at 10 AM.

At the festival, we gather as guardians from all winds; keepers of wisdom, love, and presence, who remember that true guardianship begins within, through awareness, compassion, and conscious action.
Our logo, depicting Thoth, the ancient Egyptian god of wisdom and truth, symbolizes this timeless role of the guardian — the keeper of divine order, the bridge between heaven and earth, and the protector of the sacred.

Both the Guardians Restaurant and Guardians Bar are located at the main festival venue.
Guardians Festival unites passionate chefs who will be preparing delicious and healthy food at the Guardians Restaurant, with a variety of vegan & vegetarian options available. Gluten-free options will also be available every day.
At the Guardians Bar, our team will treat you with refreshing drinks, fresh fruit, smoothies, and delicious chickpea vegan ice cream.
Standard camping is included in the festival ticket, and participants bring their own camping equipment. While food is available at the festival food area, you are welcome to bring your own camping setup and prepare simple meals at your campsite.
Yes. There are drinking water stations at the festival where you can refill your bottles at any time. Please note that the water is cold and safe to drink, but there is no hot water available.
The festival is an alcohol-free space designed to create a conscious and family-friendly environment. Alcohol is therefore not part of the festival experience.

Purchasing a festival ticket on the day of the event will not be possible unless tickets are still available. We highly recommend securing your ticket in advance to guarantee your spot.
You can currently choose between Full Festival Tickets, Tribe Packs, and Kids Tickets. A limited number of Day Tickets will be released closer to the festival.

Guardians is a festival for all generations, with dedicated tickets for our youngest Guardians:
• Ages 0–3: Free entry – a ticket with a valid QR code is still required
• Ages 4–7: €55
• Ages 8–14: €88

A limited number of Day Tickets will become available closer to the festival.
Additional tickets, such as Early Arrival, Car Parking, Campervan Parking, and more, are also available in our ticket shop.
The sales of festival tickets are divided into five phases — we are currently in the Early Bird phase.
The early bird festival ticket is priced at €297 and includes the festival program (with the exception of a few paid workshops and intimate ceremonies), standard camping (bring your own camping equipment), and all applicable taxes.

The festival ticket price does not include the following: early arrival pass (€25 per person), car parking (€15 per car), sleeping in a car (€55 per car), campervan parking (€55 per campervan), campervan parking with electricity (€110 per campervan), ticket booking fee (€1 per ticket), kids' festival tickets (price varies depending on age), food and drinks, and there will be a few workshops and intimate ceremonies available for an additional cost.
No. Tickets are available as one-day or full festival passes only. Once you have your ticket, it’s up to you how you spend your time at the festival. Separate evening-only tickets are not offered.
Early arrival at Guardians Festival is possible from Tuesday, August 3, 2027, between 4 PM and 9 PM. The camp will be open and ready to welcome the first visitors. By securing an early arrival pass, you also get the chance to choose the best camping spot.
However, an early arrival pass will be required for this extra day of camping. The early arrival pass costs €25 per person. Kids up to 14 years old have a free early arrival pass to the festival. Note that there will be no festival program on Tuesday, August 3, 2026.

If you are unable to attend the festival, you may resell your ticket privately to another person. Please note that any resale is arranged entirely at your own responsibility.

During Guardians Festival, we create seven unique stages, complemented by our Healing Oasis and Tea Temple, each carrying its own distinct energy and purpose. Together, they weave a multidimensional journey through music, workshops, and ceremonies.
Not all stages may remain the same. In 2027, we are preparing an even deeper and more mystical experience, where each space will further evolve in its symbolism, purpose, and energy, inviting participants into an ever-expanding journey of transformation and unity.

At the festival, we will use a prepaid credit system. At special info points, you can load credit onto your festival card, which you can then use to pay for food, drinks, merch, and workshops. You can top up your card with either cash or card.
There is also an ATM at the nearby gas station, but it has a limited cash supply, so we recommend arriving with a payment card or enough cash to cover your expenses.
Yes! We encourage all participants to bring natural soaps, shampoos, and detergents to help us protect the environment and the beautiful nature around the festival. Please avoid chemical or non-biodegradable products.
Yes. There will be charging stations throughout the festival grounds where you can recharge your devices. Please note that campsites do not have individual electricity access, so personal tents or parcels won’t have direct power.
The campervan area with electricity is available for those who purchase a special campervan parking ticket, but the number of spots is limited, so booking in advance is recommended.
Mobile signal and internet coverage at the location is generally good, but the festival does not provide Wi‑Fi.
Although we are all passionate animal lovers, we have decided this year to prohibit dogs and other animals from entering the camping site and festival venue. This decision was made primarily for the safety of our little ones.
For all dog owners, we’ve partnered with Smrček Dog Hotel, which offers safe and loving care for your dog while you enjoy the festival.
Smrček Dog Hotel is located just over an hour’s drive from the festival venue (on the way if you're coming from Ljubljana) and provides full dog care for only €25 per day.

The festival takes place in all weather conditions. And honestly, based on our past festivals and events, we seem to have pretty good connections with the weather spirits ;)
In case of rain, there’s no need to worry. We have several large tents and covered areas across the festival grounds where you can comfortably move your body, attend workshops, or simply relax until the sun returns.
So come prepared, but trust that the spirits are usually on our side.
The campsite opens on Tuesday, August 3, 2027, at 4 PM with an early arrival pass (€25 per person) and closes on Monday, August 9, at 10 AM.
Standard camping is included in the festival ticket; but you need to bring your own camping equipment.
The camping area is located in a pleasant, shaded shelter of the forest. The campsite is equipped with toilets, sinks, and showers. Please note that there is no hot water in the showers.
You can also stay in your campervan or sleep in your car — tickets are available here.
There is a special part of the campsite dedicated for campervans and cars.
If you are arriving at the festival with a campervan or planning to sleep in your car, you need to purchase a special ticket. There are three options available:
Campervans and cars used for sleeping are parked inside the fenced festival campsite in a dedicated area, separate from the tent camping area. You’re welcome to set up a shade in front of your campervan, but please note that a naturally shaded parking spot cannot be guaranteed, and it is not possible to camp together with friends staying in tents.
You can get your ticket at our ticket shop. Campervan and car camping spots are limited.
No. Cars are parked in a designated parking area near the campsite. If you want to sleep in your car or campervan inside the campsite, you need to purchase a special campervan or car-sleeping ticket.
If camping isn’t your thing, don’t worry – there are plenty of cozy accommodations available near the festival grounds. You can find a full list of nearby hosts, along with their contact details for inquiries and bookings, at the following link.
We are offering airport shuttles from Ljubljana and Zagreb airports. More information will be available soon.
